Platform operator CSN

What is a platform operator CSN?

The platform operator CSN is a unique identifier used by platform operators to transact with CPF Board. 

 

This includes making CPF payments for platform workers and submitting requests on platform operator matters.

A CSN consist of a Unique Entity Number (UEN) and CPF payment code.

 

The CPF payment code identifies the type of payment made.

How many CSNs should a platform operator have?

Every platform operator requires two CSNs

  • One CSN is used to make CPF contributions for platform workers born on 1st Jan 1995 or later and those born before 01 Jan 1995 who have opted in. This CSN will contain “PWA” in its payment code.

 

  • One CSN is used to make CPF contributions for platform workers born before 01 Jan 1995 who have not opted in. This CSN will contain “PWM” in its payment code.

From Nov 2024, consult the platform operators' onboarding package for detailed guidance on applying for platform operator CSNs, setting up CPF EZPay with Corppass, querying platform workers' opt-in status, and configuring direct debit authorisation.

Applying for UEN

If you are a new platform operator without an UEN and are applying for one from Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), you can use the BizFile + Portal to do so.

Applying for platform operator CSN if you already have a UEN

If you already have an existing UEN and your authorised users are granted access to ‘CPF Services for Employers and Business Partners’ e-Service in Corppass portal, they can proceed to apply for a CSN via submission of the platform operator CSN application form.
