What is a CSN

Your CSN is a unique identifier for your CPF contributions. It is needed for transactions with the CPF Board. Your Unique Entity Number (UEN) or NRIC/FIN (if you’re trading under your own name) won’t be enough on its own.

As an employer, you must keep your principal place of business and contact details up-to-date to receive important and current CPF information. You’re required to tell us if you no longer have any employees in service.

When are CPF contributions due

The due date for CPF contributions is on the last day of the calendar month. Enforcement action would be taken against employers who fail to pay by the 14^th of the following month (or the next working day if the 14^th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday). This includes imposing late payment interest charged at 1.5% per month, commencing from the first day after the due date.
