CPF Investment Scheme Self-Awareness Questionnaire

Complete the Self-Awareness Questionnaire to participate in the CPF Investment Scheme.

You will need to complete the Self-Awareness Questionnaire (SAQ) before you can start investing under the CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS).

The SAQ starts with learning modules on:

  • Investment concepts such as risk-return relationship and what you should consider before investing; and
  • Investment products and charges under CPFIS

You will then login with your Singpass to take a quiz, where the results will help you assess if CPFIS is suitable for you.

If you have completed the SAQ learning modules,  you can proceed to login with your Singpass to take the quiz.

All investments come with risk. Your investment decisions would impact your retirement nest egg. Only invest if you can take investment risk, can afford to invest, have the time to monitor your investments, and are confident of earning more than the CPF interest rates. Otherwise, you should leave your savings in your CPF accounts to earn the risk-free CPF interest rates.

Important notes

  • You can participate in the CPFIS once you have completed the SAQ, regardless of your SAQ results. You may also attempt the SAQ multiple times.
  • CPFIS agent banks and product providers will need you to declare or show your SAQ status for verification. If you have completed the SAQ, you can retrieve your SAQ status from the Investment dashboard
