Your MediSave contribution payable for the year is based on your net trade income and age as at 1 January of that year.
This is your gross trade income minus all allowable business expenses, capital allowances and trade losses as determined by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
Pensioners refer to those who: (i) are/were employed in any of the public services; (ii) continue to be eligible for medical benefits under the terms of your services from the government upon your retirement; and (iii) are/were not on the MediSave-cum-Subsidised Outpatient (MSO) Scheme.
