Why do payout durations for members on the Retirement Sum Scheme vary?
Retirement Sum Scheme (RSS) base payouts are designed to last up to 20 years from the payout eligibility age. Extra interest earned after you start your payouts will be used to extend the RSS payout duration up to age 90 at most. The amount of extra interest earned and the length of the extension may differ from other members as it depends mainly on how much you have in your Retirement Account (RA).
